As a cottage producer of dairy cheeses, we at Jerseyland have developed and marketed several distinct varieties of organic cheeses which are less common in this part of the world. They are naturally aged, raw milk cheeses with no preservatives or colouring added - THE WAY CHEESE SHOULD BE - We have developed an assortment of flavourful and delicious varieties for every palate.
We produce B.C.'s first Certified Organic Yogurt, rich and creamy & non-homogenized! All Jerseyland Organics yogurt is produced from the Jerseyland farm. Jersey milk is ideally suited for both cheese and yogurt because it is by far the highest in "solids". We add no thickeners or emulsifiers to our yogurt. The yogurt is pasteurized but is non-homogenized. This keeps the yogurt unadulterated, leaving it with a layer of cream at the top which can be stirred to obtain a rich, creamy texture. There are four strains of live, active bacterial culture which are identified on each container.
The strawberry yogurt contains only certified organic strawberries, certified organic cane sugar, and pectin. The french vanilla yogurt contains certified organic vanilla extract and certified organic cane sugar.
